A small look into the life and work of Meredith Stevens...
So I have decided. Now is the time that I am finally going to start blogging. I know I said that last year. But I have to. Not only because I want to update on what I am doing with my work, but because it really helps me to know where I am and where I want to be with my work.
So here it is:
I will attempting to complete a 365 photo project.
I will post the photos once a week (mainly for my sanity since I don't think that I could post every day)
This way I can keep myself moving and keep improving.
What are your plans for 2013?
Make sure to keep looking for some cool things coming from Meredith Stevens Photography more mini session opportunities as well as some giveaways and maybe....a contest thrown in for good measure! ;-)
Happy 2013 all!
I have come to the conclusion that I need to bite the bullet and start a blog. So here goes. This is something totally new for me so go with the flow for a little and so will I.
The past year has been a complete and total whirlwind for me. I finally got the business up and running and to the point where I am really starting to build and promote. I have been fortunate enough to work with some amazing clients and their families.
Rachel and Austin's wedding was beautiful from start to finish. The lighting the people and such a beautiful couple! Thank you so much for letting me into your lives and have the opportunity to photograph it! From the baby shower to the wedding and first birthday, it has been a true joy and pleasure.
I have also had to extreme pleasure to work with some beautiful women and their sweet sweet babies...
This has brought me to the realization that I truly love what I do. It took me a while to have the confidence in my work and want to do more than just teaching what I love. Don't get me wrong, teaching photography is still my passion and I truly love working with my students and imparting the knowledge and joy of photography. But, working one on one with these special people and their families and helping them to remember these moments forever has brought even more joy to my life. I love every part of it from beginning to end.
More work and hopefully more interesting blogs to come soon!
